What did you enjoy about the Ambassador’s programme?
It really was a great opportunity. I was humbled by the experience. I also gained a deeper appreciation for the people of which have helped to craft our region and nurture our community.
What have you learnt over this experience?
I now have a greater understanding and respect for the many hard-working and dedicated volunteers who help to deliver the Barossa Vintage Festival every two years. Without these volunteers we would not be able to enjoy all of the wonderful events.
We also have a large number of community-minded businesses that see value in sponsoring these events. Their generosity is certainly appreciated.
Why should other people get involved in the Ambassador’s programme?
It’s a great way to be immerse yourself in the community which could also lead to further opportunities.
What was a stand-out memory for you over the programme?
I loved to meet all of the participants of the YAB 2019. They are truly remarkable people with a terrific mindset.
