YOUR LOCAL FARMERS MARKET UPDATE
The Fudget stall offers a selection of fudge handmade by stallholder Alison using a secret family recipe.
Alison of Fudget
HOW DID YOU GET INTO FOOD?
My food journey began at an early age making fudge at home in the kitchen with my Mum. This led to a passion for cooking, which developed into a culinary career and now a stall at the farmers’ market each Saturday.
WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR FUDGE?
My fudge is made following the same recipe that my mum used, with fortified wine and muscat as a sweetening agent. This creates deliciously smooth fudge that is not overly sweet while being true to the local community and products of the Barossa Valley.
WHO WILL CUSTOMERS MEET AT THE STALL?
You can meet Alison at her stall at the market where you might get to try a sample of her many delicious and creative varieties including Star Anise, White Chocolate Macadamia and Rosewater.
