How to define Richard’s newsagency is definitely not straightforward. It’s an institution on Angaston’s main street. A place where locals come for the staple items a newsagency provides, but also to pick up something from the eclectic mix that Richard has on offer.
Mostly though, Miles’ Newsagency feels like a place where you are known, and time for a chat is always given priority. No doubt you’ll run into someone else you know, and likewise, catch up.
Richard’s newsagency is a valuable gem, and it is unfortunate that such establishments are becoming less prevalent. They represent a harmonious blend of genuine customer service, community care and engagement.

After studying Pharmacology at Adelaide University in the 1980s, his direction changed when his parents became grape growers at Clare, igniting a passion for wine through a blend of hospitality and viticulture.
