Have you heard the good news?

Trust, care and understanding is what you’re greeted with when you walk
through the door at Ron Kendall Audiology, Tanunda.

For well over 30 years, Ron Kendall has assisted the community’s hearing needs and recently two new clinicians have joined the team to share the role and provide further support where it’s needed.

Both Cindy Nickle and Nicole Emes carry a strong relationship with Ron through their own career journeys.

Cindy previously worked as an administrative assistant and then as an Audiometrist at the Tanunda clinic many years ago. Originally from the United States, Cindy returned to her home state of Illinois where she ran her own hearing clinic for over six years.

Cindy chose to return to the Barossa 2 years ago to be closer to her family. The added bonus was to re-join Ron as an Audiometrist.

It was a perfect fit.

“I was drawn back to the clinic due to the strong ethics in which the practice is run,” said Cindy.

“Both this and a strong sense of family values… We’re a really close team.”

It’s a similar story for Nicole Emes. Whilst born and bred in the Barossa, Nicole worked with Ron for the first eight years as an administrative assistant and now as an Audiometrist.

When asked what drew her to the industry and to Ron Kendall Audiology, her answer was simple.

“I really enjoy helping people, I always have,” said Nicole.

“Being able to help people re-connect with their family and friends, listen to music and grow their everyday confidence in life is just so rewarding.’

“It’s also about putting the patient first. We only fit what’s clinically suitable for a client’s needs and lifestyle requirements.”

“That just makes sense to me.”

Nicole is not one to stand still either. This is evident through ongoing study to advance her career and her own goals through National Equestrian Titles and a personal challenge to train her horse to ‘1 Star’ (no small feat).

“You need to continually challenge yourself,” said Nicole. “It’s about self-improvement for me and this only comes from hard work and determination.”

As for Ron, he’s excited to have Cindy and Nicole as part of the team. “Cindy and Nicole are such a good fit here in Tanunda. It has given me the flexibility to now service the mid-north country clinics on a part time basis. They are strong and confident in their roles, so I know our clients are in professional hands” says Ron.

With an extensive network of clinics the team consult through, Ron Kendall Audiology have an expansive availability both locally and beyond.

When Ron, Cindy and Nicole are not practicing in Tanunda, you can find them consulting in Kapunda, Gawler, Salisbury, Modbury, Clare, Port Pirie and Crystal Brook.

“Ron Kendall Audiology has provided excellent service and have been able to provide me with the ability to hear my family and friends again. They have also enabled me to enjoy being in a group situation again.”
