David and Kathy Liersch of Rainbow Fruits

David and Kathy Liersch are passionate about Australian produce and are lucky enough to own an important part of the Barossa German settlement history – a beautiful 100-year old orchard in Bethany.

Each year they bring golden figs, purple Turkish figs, apricots, nashi pears and table grapes (to name a few) that are all grown spray free. The purple Turkish figs (which will be ready at the end of March) come from their oldest tree on the property which is 150 years old!

To purchase their historical, full flavoured fruit, check our website and social media stories each Friday, to see their attendance at our market.
