Wiechs Barossa Valley Egg Noodles started in 1935 with Mrs Marie Wiech making her German noodles in Tanunda. Her granddaughter Lil passed over ownership to us in 2007 and we still use the same methods to keep the Wiech legacy alive.
We sell egg noodles in traditional ribbon, spaghetti and fine styles, as well as our organic flavoured noodles in Chilli and Black Pepper. We also sell Spelt noodles, made from spelt flour. Our pasta has been recognised as among the best pasta in Australia with multiple award wins at the Sydney Royal Food Show.
We hand-make and hand-cut our dough, and use low temperatures and longer drying times to create flavourful, tender egg noodles. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring Wiech’s egg noodles to a fourth generation, and aim to live up to the legacy.
