A fitting tribute to the birthplace of the Barossa, the new 1837 Barossa Restaurant is a place created for celebration, or simply to enjoy life’s pleasures – food, family, friends and spectacular country vistas. Beautifully reimagined, the restaurant now features expansive, shaded outdoor dining areas that can accommodate up to 150 guests.
The 1837 Barossa restaurant experience provides an ideal setting for social engagements, dinner for two, birthday celebrations, anniversaries, weddings or mid-week dinners. Positioned as a premier new destination, 1837 Barossa offers adventurous culinary experiences at accessible prices. It combines pure, inspired flavours with an atmosphere designed for relaxation and indulgence. The new restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, six days a week and is only closed on Wednesday.
For those seeking a memorable wedding venue, 1837 Barossa offers flexible options, with several different locations able to be set for 20 up to 150 guests, depending on the desired style.
But there’s more to see. Beyond the restaurant, a newly expanded Cellar Door Pavilion offers an opportunity for families, couples or groups to enjoy lunch with a view, with freshly prepared pizzas, seasonal platters, and wine tastings designed to cater to visitors and locals alike. With a large Roman Terrace featuring marble statues carved in Italy, it sets the scene for the surrounding world-class Art Trail, which can be taken in as an ideal accompaniment to lunch.
