What does Winter in the Barossa mean to you?
The sound of rain on the tin roof, the smell of wood smoke in the air from surrounding fireplaces, frost on the grass in the vineyards, local footy on Saturday morning… That’s what winter means to us.
As the cold weather begins to roll in, it also signals a little more time spent inside.
It’s catching up on odd jobs, planning projects for spring, organising that first wood delivery for the fireplace and enjoying comfort food in the kitchen on a lazy Sunday afternoon with the family.
Winter is a wonderful time of year in the Barossa, a season our family truly enjoys.
