SPRING 2024

With the change in seasons, what are you most looking forward to this Spring?

For me, Spring in the Barossa kicks off the season of long lunches, that usually progresses to dinner, and endless Riesling. I’m loving the sun creeping up earlier in the morning at the moment and knowing the longer days aren’t too far away.

The Barossa spring attire also comes out of the cupboard – shorts and loafers, no socks, but of course an RM vest to greet the chilly mornings.

Every Spring, when nature’s waking up from a winter sleep, I look at my raised veggie beds in the backyard and always tell myself, (one year I’ll plant them up) it’s been six Springs now!) Good thing we’ve got a kitchen garden at work … just don’t get busted by the chef!

…. So I’ll see everyone soon for a tasting at Jacob’s Creek, into a long lunch with Pete and the amazing team at Harvest Kitchen and then laze on the lawns with a glass or two of our recent Halliday 95 point Estate Riesling in hand … cheers
