Whether it’s the kids early morning sports drop off on Saturdays or a Barossa bush walk with friends, the Mitsubishi ASX is the perfect choice for those who live an active lifestyle.
With a new level of styling, this compact SUV stands out from the crowd.
It’s built for the working week as much as the weekend with stacks of storage, super smart technology, zippy performance and effortless style.
With a range of models to suit all budgets, the ASX will get you to wherever you’re going in style.
Finding the right car can sometimes be a bit of a minefield… With so many options out there on the market, it really comes down to what’s the right car for you.
We recently spoke with locals Robert & Tanya Gattermayr about their purchase of the new 2019 Mitsubishi ASX from Lyndoch Motors. We were interested to find out a little more about what led them to the ASX and ultimately why it was the right choice for them…
We were lucky enough to have friends who already owned an ASX and they were more than happy to let us try out the car. This gave us great confidence when it came time to test drive the car with the dealership.
We found it to be a very easy car to drive and really comfortable.
We decided on the base model. While it doesn’t come with some of the bells and whistles generally associated with the higher priced models, we were positively surprised by the inclusion of many key features, in particular the technology included towards safety.
Everybody loved the ‘Lightning Blue’ paint colour.
We needed a family car and this ticked all the boxes. It’s our everyday car and perfect for the day to day trips here and there, all the while full with people… We have 2 teenagers, so it’s fair to say it’s ‘mums taxi’.
The stylish good looks of the car are what attracted us. We only became aware of the ASX after talking to with friends about the myriad of options out there. Once we did a little research, we soon found out how popular they were.
It’s still comfortable and roomy when it’s full of passengers and with enough room for the esky and other things in the boot. With our previous car being a 7 seater, we have scaled down to the ASX. The reverse camera and folding mirrors are both nifty options and the stereo system sounds great.o
It handles well on the bitumen, in and around town and it is a very quiet ride which we enjoy. The power is more than enough for us and we’re happy with fuel economy… It gets 7.1L per 100km around town.
It’s a good, honest and proven car that would suit either a student, pension card holder or small family like us… A good allrounder.
We also were very happy with the service we received from Steve Ahrens of Lyndoch Motors. “He makes you feel like you’re dealing with a mate!”.
