Ellen and Josh’s love story began three years ago when they met on Tinder.
Their favourite location (a secret part of the Barossa Valley), a cheese platter, a bottle of Krug champagne
and a stunning sunset backdrop set the scene for a romantic proposal when Josh surprised Ellen by asking her to marry him.
The happy couple chose to hold their wedding ceremony at Whistler Wines where they were married by Victoria Blechynden on the morning of October 11.
For her special day Ellen wore a gown by Grace Loves Lace and was attended by her sister, Abbey Carter.
Josh’s best man was Alfred Weaver.
Afterwards at the same venue a very relaxed long lunch catered for by El Estanco awaited the 120 closest family and friends.
All of the wines were from Josh’s cellar so no two wines were the same and there were also some very special bottles that Josh had collected over the years that were shared with their guests.
Libby Weaver made the very special chocolate wedding cake and was decorated by Bri from Leaf and Lotus for all to enjoy.
Ellen said, “Being able to spend such a perfect day surrounded by family and friends and share our ceremony with our son William and pregnant with our second son (due in July) made the day so memorable.”
Ellen is the daughter of Sue and Kym Wilson of Angaston and Josh is the son of Sally and Martin Pfeiffer of Marananga.
A very special chocolate cake, created by Josh’s best mans mum and decorated by Bri from Leaf and Lotus. Josh always said he wanted Libby Weaver to make his wedding cake and she did!
