When Accolade Wines tasked the esteemed Barossa brands Grant Burge, St Hallett, and Rolf Binder with creating an enticing offering to draw visitors to the region, the Cellar Door Managers eagerly collaborated to curate a unique food and wine trail, showcasing the best of the Barossa Valley.

The Taste and Graze Trail offers a self-guided tour, beginning at Grant Burge, one of the region’s household names. Here, enjoy handcrafted chocolates made by Just Bliss chocolatiers paired with four premium wines, while overlooking the stunning vista of vineyards and the historical village of Krondorf.

Continue with a short drive to St Hallett, Tanunda, celebrated for its mastery of Barossa Shiraz. Savour a red wine and cheese flight featuring the famous Blackwell Shiraz alongside carefully selected artisanal cheeses.

Conclude your adventure at boutique winery Rolf Binder, Tanunda, where a gourmet pizza lunch with Rolf Binder’s finest wines awaits.

“Each location offers a distinct experience, from Grant Burge’s sophistication to St Hallett’s modern rustic and Rolf Binder’s European charm.”

“Each location offers a distinct experience, from Grant Burge’s sophistication to St Hallett’s modern rustic and Rolf Binder’s European charm,” notes Melissa Dahlitz, St Hallett Cellar Door Manager.

The trail’s remarkable success has inspired the creation of a complementary experience known as the Progressive Lunch Trail, which reverses the route, offering visitors a deeper culinary adventure.

“These five-star experiences are a great opportunity to enjoy the best of the Barossa, even for locals to discover their own backyard”, shares Jodie Kurtz, Rolf Binder Cellar Door Manager.

The Progressive Wine and Lunch Trail begins at Rolf Binder, where you can enjoy your first course of pizzettas and wine. Next, head to St Hallett for a Spanish-inspired tapas plate, and finally, end your journey with decadent chocolates at Grant Burge.

“We offer more than just wine tasting; we provide exceptional food, wine, and hospitality to create unforgettable experiences,” says Paul Gaster, Grant Burge Cellar Door Manager.

Join the team for an immersive sensory journey that offers a fusion of the region’s flavours alongside fine Barossa wines.
