Lucinda & Travis's Wedding

WEDDING

Lucinda Schmidt
& Travis Burton

married at
stevens garden estate // williamstown
february 9, 2019

Travis’ love for Lucinda was witnessed by family and friends when he proposed to her at her 21st birthday party.

The couple, who met by chance at a local hotel, went on to be married by Celebrant, Marisa Wilson at Stevens Estate Garden, Williamstown on February 2.

Lucinda wore a Maddalena dress by Sophia Tolli and for something borrowed she wore her Nanna’s opal ring.

Maid of honour was Jamie-Lee Miller.

For the occasion Travis wore a gold pendant with the Burton family coat of arms. He also gifted a similar pendant to his brother and best man, Blake and his father, Mark.

A reception for 85 guests was held in a marquee on the bride’s family property.

Jessica Pal made and beautifully decorated their wedding cake consisting of a carrot cake, chocolate mud and lemon and lime cake.

Lucinda said, “A very treasured moment for her on the day was seeing Travis’ face with a smile so wide and beaming with happiness and excitement when he saw her walking down the aisle toward him”.

For Travis saying his vows was one of the most pivotal moments on the day as he was able to stand in front
of his family and friends, declaring his love, commitment and devotion that he has for the woman he has chosen to become his wife.

The morning of the wedding started out raining but stopped just as the ceremony began at 11.30. It was a pleasant relief in amongst the heat of summer making everything more beautiful at the venues and for photos.

Lucinda is the daughter of Allen and Debra Schmidt of Nuriootpa and Travis is the son of Mark and Trish Burton of Nuriootpa.
