When Britney Kleinig and Ben Heinrich married after a nine-year romance, it was very much a family affair, with the couple saying their vows on the family farm before 95 guests, with Britney’s two sisters, Tanisha and Suemia as her attendants.
With the reception held at Artisans of Barossa, Britney even nominates her favourite moment as one that included family, along with a summer sunset.
“The dance floor of course – but also just seeing all of our loved ones on the lawn at the reception, as the sun was just about to go down. It was bliss,” Britney said.
Having met through high school friends, the romantic proposal also featured a beautiful, natural backdrop, along with thoughtful touches.
Britney says, “He proposed on the top of a hill on our property, by a tree he planted after the Pinery fire with a ring he got designed by a Tumby Bay jeweller.”
Not surprisingly, considering the bride is the creative force and namesake behind Brit Creative Studio at Lyndoch, this stylish graphic designer created not only her own wedding stationery but the neutral aesthetic which created the feel for the event.
While the bride chose a Made With Love dress for the special day, her groom suited the relaxed, country feel, with R.M. Williams boots and belt and tones which complemented the summer country backdrop.
The couple then enjoyed a blissful summer honeymoon that Britney describes as “amazing,” swapping one famous wine area for another, at Western Australia’s, Margaret River, along with a visit to Perth.
