Married at chateau Yaldara, lyndoch

The modern meeting of new love, Kayla and Tobias shared a connection that started online and developed into something people dream of.

While the day Toby had planned to propose may not have gone exactly to plan, it was still very memorable and special for the couple.

“He proposed at home on the couch, it was completely unexpected!” Kayla excitedly explained.

The date of their engagement was the same as the day Toby asked Kayla to be his girlfriend.

Their love story is one that the couple couldn’t wait to share with the world and to say ‘I do’ in front of their family and friends.

Their ceremony and reception were held at Chateau Yaldara, with 100 guests in attendance.

Neither Kayla nor Tobias enjoy public speaking, so they tailored their ceremony to suit them.

“Our ceremony was told like a story about us,” Kayla shared.

“We got so many compliments on how different it was.

“It was just so special.”

Being from a farming background, the style of their day can be described as a fusion of country rustic and elegance, the perfect blend to bring their vision to life.

Kayla and Tobias spent some time exploring the beauty of Kangaroo Island when they were starting to plan their wedding.

“We weren’t sure if we would be able to travel, so we went local and we are so glad we did!”
