The MY18 Pajero Sport is a model year update with some specifications revisions aimed at maintaining Pajero Sport’s great value proposition and providing some subtle exterior changes.

New across all variants of the MY18 Pajero Sport and an important addition to its superior safety standards is Frontal Collision Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control. A handy 220V AC Outlet has been added to the Centre Console Box and 2 x USB Power Ports for 2nd Row Occupants (perfect for those long drives when the kids need to charge their tablets on the go)

 

Also joining the lineup for 2018 is a new variant of the mid spec GLS, which now comes with a 5 seat option. The GLS Spec is now also available in black, where previously this was for the top of the range Exceed variant only.

The interior has seen some subtle changes introduced too. These compliment an already refined cabin, which is perfect for the growing family. There’s also room for the dog, the after school sports equipment or the extra luggage needed come holiday time via a generous boot space.

The Pajero Sport offers a refined high quality design thanks to its distinctive and unmistakable style. From the external LED lights, to the comfortable and premium feel cabin, it’s clear to see Mitsubishi continue to refine the offerings with each model update.

It’s all part of Mitsubishi’s new design philosophy of ‘Dynamic Shield’, which focuses primarily on the front fascia. The new focus combines two crucial elements that make up its single unifying identity: protection and performance. This takes into account a rugged, sports look with safety in mind and can be seen in the new blacked-out, horizontal grille, thin chrome trim, angled headlights and front fender extensions. The ‘Dynamic Shield’ philosophy is part of an overall consistent look across the lineup that highlights the automaker’s off-road roots.

Complimenting this already impressive vehicle is a technology and safety package referred to as Mitsubishi Motors Intuitive Technology, or MiTEC. This is an integrated system of brilliant innovations in action, working together to guide and protect, alert and connect and even entertain.

While some of the features listed here not available with the base model or mid-spec GLS, the following are the options now available.

TOWBAR KIT

The package includes a Towbar, Tongue, Wiring Harness and 7-pin flat plug. Please note the ball & cover are sold separately to compliment the Towbar package. Mitsubishi Genuine towbars are designed by Mitsubishi Motors to meet stringent Australian design rules and minimise the stresses that can be placed on a vehicle when towing.

All of Mitsubishi genuine towbars are designed to tow the maximum weight of the vehicle. i.e. they are “Heavy Duty”.  If you’re unsure of your towing needs, have a chat with us in-store about the correct towing equipment required. SNORKEL

This genuine accessory snorkel is manufactured from ABS Plastic and designed to relocate the air intake from the wheel arch to the roof line reducing dirty air intake into your engine. The Snorkel is tuned to match the induction pressure for improved drive-ability. Please note the vehicle water wading depth is unchanged at 700mm with the installation of this accessory.

UNDER RIDE PROTECTION

Designed to protect the underside of your vehicle, in particular the engine and transmission. For anyone considering off-road road 4×4 travel, this protection pack is a must.

ROOF RACK CROSS BARS

Comprising a Foot Pack, Bar Pack and Fitting Kit, these Roof Racks are engineered to the highest standards. Available with a load capacity to suit your vehicle. These Roof Racks are also perfectly suited to a range of applications. Please note the weight of the racks must be included in calculating the load on the roof racks in relation to the rated capacity.

NUDGE BAR

Many customers we speak with have asked our thoughts about aftermarket nudge bars/bull bars. While it’s fair to suggest we sit firmly in the genuine accessories camp, it is simply for good reason.

Not only has Mitsubishi’s genuine Stainless Steel Nudge Bar been tested to comply with all relevant Australian Design Rules and Australian Standards, but it has been crashed tested whilst actually attached to a Mitsubishi vehicle. Aftermarket accessories do not have the privilege of this claim and therefore can not offer the same level of confidence as genuine.

Mitsubishi’s genuine Nudge Bar is also fully airbag compatible and designed not to interfere with the headlamps, indicators or other standard equipment.

Please Note: There is no provision for driving lights to be fitted to the Nudge Bar as they will interfere with the vehicles safety system sensing zone.

CARGO LINER

Designed to suit the rear cargo area of your Pajero Sport, this is a practical accessory which adds crucial ‘wear and tear’ protection to an area of the car that needs it the most. Made from moulded hard plastic and featuring a raised outer lip to retain loose objects and spills, it is easy to remove and clean and will protect the carpet from damage.
