Taste the flavours of Autumn in the Barossa during a seasonal celebration of wine, food and experiences which brings together some of the Barossa’s best produce.

With seven events over three days, Barossa Seasons: Autumn showcases the generous spirit of the region through indulgent and exciting food and wine experiences.

There’s moving feasts, long lunches, wine and music sessions and behind the scenes food tours to whet your appetite.

Barossa Seasons Autumn (April 5-7), coincides with Tasting Australia and will encourage people to go beyond the city to explore and discover food and wine experiences in regional areas.

The alignment with Tasting Australia was a perfect match according to Tourism Barossa’s Regional Tourism Manager, Cathy Wills.

“Tasting Australia is about people experiencing South Australia’s food and wine culture, the Barossa Seasons: Autumn programme is about showcasing the incredible produce of the region,” Cathy said.

According to Barossa Seasons producer, Sam Wright, “Autumn is a season that commands our focus to appreciate the fruits of our vintage and celebrate the abundance of produce here in the Barossa.

“The Seasons programme does just that through curated events that encourage people to explore and indulge in the generosity of the region through wine and food offerings” he said.

“The programme is really exciting and marks a new experience of the region beyond what you would expect.”

Welcome to the season where breakfasts are sourced fresh before your eyes at the Barossa Farmer’s Market; where secret harvest lunches are prepared by some of our best underground producers and three-course feasts take you on a moving discovery of the region.

Barossa’s Autumn will leave you feeling nourished long after the final meal has been served.

Or watch a canvas come alive to the sounds of vinyl and taste of vino; become an expert on what it takes to make a great Virgin Olive Oil and watch the golden vines mirror the sunset to the sounds of the region’s best musicians.

It’s all right here waiting for you to discover over three-days from April 5-7.

Participating venues include Steinys Traditional Mettwurst, Lindsay Wine Estate, Fino Seppeltsfield, Appellation, Hentley Farm, Vasse Virgin at Seppeltsfield, El Estanco, Atze’s Corner Wines and Barossa Walks.
