what pete shot

A ‘mostly’ portrait and ‘brief’ interview series by professional photographer Pete Thornton exploring the idea that one image has the power to tell the whole story.

Each ‘sitter’ suggests the next person to be photographed in this series, and thus ensues an interesting and unknown trail of Barossa identities to come.

Stay tuned… Pete

Beck Tucker &
Martin Ritzmann
- Mehl Sourdough

‘Mehl’ – its German for flour, and it was the fact that German born Martin was missing the flavours of the bread he grew up with back in Germany that prompted the creation of ‘Mehl Sourdough’.

Martin and Beck starting their bread baking business with craft, care and love at its heart.

With no previous baking experience, they set about learning and leaning on those in the know, crafting their skills and honing the process.

The results speak for themselves, and 8 years of selling both locally and through the Barossa Market show how much we love this beautiful product and the passion this couple put into it.
